Creative Quotations from . . .
Austin Dobson
(1840-1921) born on
Jan 18
English poet, critic, biographer. His love and knowledge of the 18th century lent a graceful elegance to his poetry and inspired his critical studies.

And make hors-d' uvres for fishes.
And I wove the thing to a random rhyme,

I intended an Ode,
And it turned to a Sonnet.
All passes. Art alone
Enduring stays to us;
The bust outlasts the throne
