I don't really have studios. I wander around around people's attics, out in fields, in cellars, anyplace I find that invites me.

I think anything like that which is contemplative, silent, shows a person alone people always feel is sad. Is it because we've lost the art of being alone?
When you show it to someone, if they like it, you're stopped, and if they dislike it you're stopped either way.
